Peruvian Dinner

IMG-20140507-WA0014IMG-20140507-WA0007A typical Peruvian song says: “I am proud of being Peruvian and I am happy for that…” and as a Peruvian one of the reasons to be proud of is our delicious food. It is known that in the last years the Peruvian cuisine has been shown to the world in a better way due to the hard work of recognized chefs as Gaston Acurio and others.

As ambassadors of the Peruvian brand and a members of the IE Peru Club we decided to organize a typical Peruvian dinner for the IE community, with the best of our cuisine. We negotiated an excellent menu with the recognized restaurant TAMPU, and just for €25 we offered; as entrance, “ceviche de corvina”, “papa a la huancaina” and “tacacho selvático”; as main dishes, “seco de lomo”, “aji de gallina” or “escabeche de pescado” and as dessert “dulce de quinua” with passion fruit ice cream.

IMG-20140507-WA0005IMG-20140507-WA0002Also, it is important to mention that we had the participation of the commercial director of the Peruvian embassy, Bernardo Muñoz, and of the successful Peruvian entrepreneur, Rocío Arenas. All the people that assisted were very satisfied and enthusiastic for knowing more about Peruvian food and trying it. As a club we are excited for this achievement.

We know that is a hard task to reinforce our brand but step by step we are doing it.

Finally, we want to say thank you to all IE community to believe in us and support our job.
