Seeking something beyond the usual mind chatter, emotional chaos, or stress of university life? Join a free 30-minute morning meditation every Thursday in MM31.
There is open attendance for students, staff, and faculty, so you can attend one Thirsday morning and skip the next week as you like. However due to the experiential nature of meditation, if you choose to join the session, you must arrive by 7.55am sharp, because once we begin there will be silence and stillness among the meditators, except for the initial instructions from the teacher. Please honor this request of not entering the meditation space after it begins, so that the experience can be deep for participants.
Each week a certain focus for practicing meditation will be introduced. You may want to bring a light sweater and meditation cushion for comfort. Questions and introductory materials can be obtained from Tara Wernsing at email@example.com.
