During the cold autumn and winter months, IE Arts and Business Club decided to bring some warm nuances and colorful experiences to our members and students!

In November, we took a guided tour with WeCollect Club at Madrid’s largest arts and antiques fair: Feriarte. Not only did we all learn more about uprising artists, but also what needs to be payed attention to when investing into art. Next, we visited the exhibition of Peruvian artist Cecilia Paredes at Madrid’s autonomous cultural center and former tobacco factory La Tabacalera.

Constance Piat, our club coordinator, gave a fabulous tour which helped us dive into the exhibition’s and the artist’s soul! 1-Feriarte

2-TabacaleraWe also organized our first speaker event at MM31, with Nir Hindi helping us answer the question: Why should the business world engage with art? And last but not least, club coordinator Marie-Joëlle Eschmann gave an exclusive tour during Kandinsky’s Retrospective exhibition at Centro Cibeles!

With these events we hope to have promoted activities involving art and culture among IE students and taken advantage from Madrid’s rich cultural offer!
