The fun started on Tuesday, when a special Samba class was performed with the presence of more than 30 students. Thank you, IE Dance Club!!! On Thursday, Maria de Molina-31 hosted its first soccer-juggling contest. The winner scored amazingly 142 soccer juggling and was granted a free ticket for the party. Finally, on Friday, IE community came together and enjoyed one of the most expected events of the year: The Brazilian Party for 2014, that took place near Santiago Bernabeú Stadium, at Lolita Lounge & Club.
More than 300 people, from the different IE Masters’ courses, were present to the party and had the opportunity to know and taste a little bit more about the Brazilian culture.
A couple of traditional carnival dancers (passista and mulata) showed how to dance Samba followed by a live band that played until the midnight. The band was only interrupted for an amazing Capoeira performance, the combination of dance and martial art brought to Brazil by the Africans. Traditional drinks like Guaraná and Caipirinha were served and our guests could taste some Brazilian appetizers such as Brigadeiro.
Now, less than one month before Brazil and Croatia kick-off one of the biggest sports events on earth, IE Brazil Club invites you to – once again – celebrate with us. Let’s get together to watch the matches, discuss the results, exchange stickers and guess which country will bring the Cup home.

After rocking IE community on March with the Brazilian Party, Brazil Club invites you to rejoice for the World Cup.
