The 2016 IE Social Responsibility Forum took place on November 12th at social co-working space Espacio Geranios. Over 120 students and professional came together for a day of speeches, panels, and interactive workshops. Students from a variety of programs at IE Business School were joined by social sector experts to explore the idea of making real impact through sustainable business practices.
Neo Moreton (Urban OM & Golden Guru) led the day off with a talk on social entrepreneurship, positivity, and purpose. Next, representatives from Fundación Tomillo, Greenpeace, Embrace the Wild, and PwC held a roundtable discussion on CSR, followed by another panel on social entrepreneurship by representatives from Economía del Bien Común, Bridge for Billions, Comparte, and Economía de la Comunión. TEAMLABS and Emzingo were kind enough to lead workshops on design thinking and sparking one’s creativity, and founder of GOAL Global John O’Shea capped the event off with a talk on helping the less fortunate through social entrepreneurship.
The IE Net Impact Club would like to thank each of our guests and participants for being there to share their amazing ideas and experiences. It was a great day of conversations that are critical for the business leaders of tomorrow!
