On June 6, co-founder of Moca Media and Professor at Berklee College of Music, Gwen Alston, who delivered a talk at IE about her entrepreneurial trajectory, about “Doing Business, Making Change: Creative Entrepreneurship and Social Impact”.
She shared her rich experience in the independent film world, and spoke about how to craft strategy and language to attract audiences and further create the social impact by using digital marketing tools in this industry. She also showed a few clips from an environmental documentary film for which her company did marketing campaign in several forums for international non-profit organizations.

Gwen Alston is co-founder of MocaMedia, a company that designs and manages outreach and marketing campaigns for documentaries and independent films that are meaningful. She’s also a professor at Berklee College of Music, teaching Digital Marketing and Social Media Management.
