Summer has come and our IE International Trade Club adventure ends for this year until the new coordinators take over on the upcoming months.

During the last 9 months, we have experienced some of the insights from different ambassadors and professionals that left us a good knowledge about the different advantages and disadvantages of nowadays-international market / economy.

Firstly, we were honoured to receive Mr. Masashi Mizukami, Ambassador of Japan in Spain, who gave a conference, related to the current economy, the latest business opportunities available and some of the impacts that the last trade measures from the United States may affect to them.

Apart from that, we were pleased to receive Mr. Jose Manuel (Mabo) Boccardo, Senior Management Consultant at Project Management Enablers S.L., who explained the importance of the planification on the projects made in a foreign country.

In May, we had a very special invitee: Mr. Yves Saint-Geours, Ambassador of France in Spain, who gave us a glimpse of how France is taking part in the EU’s foreign policy. Nowadays EU is an active actor in foreign affairs and the influence of France is quite important and useful.

Furthermore, Mr. Yuri P. Korchagin, Ambassador of Russia in Spain, gave a conference focused on current foreign policy of Russia and its diplomatic relations with Spain.

We had have other important invited speakers who gave us the clues to understand the political and economic tools to understand the worldwide economy. If you would like to get deeper information, please refer to our blog.

It has been a pleasure to expend this year with all the club coordinators and all the attendants. The club will try its best to have the same level as before on the upcoming events!

Thank you and have a great summer!
