Squash Club Practices

Written on December 12, 2018 by Campus Life in Sports

This Thursday, December 13th the IE Squash club will host its Fourth Training Session at Centro Deportivo Municipal Puente de Vallecas. In Session 4, the club’s advanced players, including its President Martín Bustamante, will facilitate drills with beginner and intermediate members focused specifically on improving movement around the court, a necessary and important skill to advance one’s squash game.  Up until now, training sessions have primarily focused on racquet skills. As consistent with the previous training sessions, we will end with evenly matched practice games to implement learnings and continue to improve match strategy. These practice matches will help members prepare for the upcoming tournament. Following said tournament, the Squash Club will be hosting a networking event to congratulate the winners and get to know each of the members off the court.

We look forward to seeing players of all levels at this week’s training session.
