Written on February 20, 2019 by Campus Life in Geographic

On February 18th, the Young Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Spain on behalf of Georgia IE club, hosted an exhibition “Discover Georgia” in IE University student hub. The exhibition presented breathtaking photographs and videos of attractive destinations of various regions and ecosystems of Georgia, beautiful nature infused with cultural characteristics, essential facts and achievements about the country, Georgian national costumes of different centuries, very vividly reflecting the values of Georgian people, the cultural diversity and history of the country. The exhibition explored the living culture of three writing systems of the Georgian unique alphabet, which is interesting for its antiquity, diversity and original outline. Several entertaining activities took place on the event: the guests were able to participate in the writing contest, trying to write their names correctly in Georgian. The major contest, that took place twice throughout the event, was the online kahoot quiz about Georgia. In the activity, participants were asked to answer interesting multiple choice questions about Georgia and compete with each other on time and amount of correct answers. Winners of all contests received Georgian wine and Georgian-Spanish dictionaries.
