IE SRF Alumni Award – “Social Means Business”

srfThis year, the IE Social Responsibility Forum would like to recognize an outstanding IE alumni for their exceptional achievements in incorporating sustainable practices and social conscientiousness into their everyday personal and professional life.  Furthermore, their continued dedication to inspiring others around them stands out among their peers and provides a model for future alumnus.

If you would like to nominate either yourself or another IE Alumni who embodies this “Social Means Business” philosophy, please submit a small description of the individual, the year they graduated from IE, and why they deserve the award to srforum@ie.edu.

Submissions will be received until Friday, November 8th. The award will be presented either in person at the IE SRF event on November 23, 2013 if the individual attends this years conference or via other means if he or she is not in the Madrid area.

We are extremely happy to announce that our IE Net Impact Chapter has achieved “Gold standing” among the world’s Net Impact Chapters, based on their achievements this past academic year. This means that our IE Net Impact Club is part of the 24% of Net Impact chapters to receive this top standing. That places IE in the top quartile of global Net Impact chapters.

According to NetImpact.org, the 2013 Gold and Silver chapters are leading the way for Net Impact’s global network of more than 300 chapters: “these chapters go above and beyond basic requirements, offering their local members a wide variety of unique opportunities to make an impact on campus, in the workplace, and in their local communities”.
